Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum age of 21 years
- 1-2 years of experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Basic math proficiency
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work well under stress in fast-paced settings
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Willingness to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Uphold safety standards by reporting injuries promptly and using kitchen equipment safely, including advanced knife skills
- Assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of kitchen items
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are provided and recorded accurately
- Establish proper par levels of products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Label, date, rotate and store products following food handling and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of production and merchandising areas
- Communicate effectively with management, Guests, and Team Members to address needs and inquiries
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to enter guest information, take-out orders and complete sales
- Bag orders efficiently ensuring quality and presentation
- Set the tone for the shift and take responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing including locking safes and setting alarms
- Perform other related duties as necessary
