Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods
- capability to reach, bend, squat and stoop regularly
- capacity to lift plates, utensils, pans and boxes up to 50 lbs
- finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
- frequent handwashing with soap and hot water
- excellent communication skills in English
- ability to work in a restaurant environment under varied conditions such as temperature fluctuations

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned, maintained and functioning
- assist the Chef and the Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory
- ensure meal and rest breaks are made available to Team Members and accurately record actual time using the time clock
- assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure proper food handling and sanitation compliance
- ensure production and merchandising areas are clean, safe and presentable
- effectively communicate with management and assist with guest and team member needs
- utilize point-of-sale system to accurately enter guest information and complete sales
- bag orders efficiently and neatly preserving item integrity
- set the tone for the shift and take responsibility for shift results
- secure the building at closing by locking the safe, doors, and setting the alarm
- perform other job-related duties as necessary
