Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- at least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
- basic math skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to manage stress in a high-volume environment
- ability to work collaboratively
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- must comply with safety standards and sanitation procedures

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries
- assist the Chef and the Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs as well as purchasing and inventory of kitchen items
- ensure meal and rest breaks are made available and accurately recorded
- assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store all products
- ensure production and merchandising areas are clean, safe and presentable
- effectively communicate with management and assist with Guests’ and Team Members’ needs and inquiries
- utilize the point-of-sale system to accurately enter guest orders
- bag orders efficiently and neatly
- set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- secure the building at closing and perform other job-related duties as necessary
