Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
  • basic math skills
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • ability to manage stress in fast-paced environments
  • ability to problem solve
  • ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and professional appearance
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least 21 years of age
  • 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
  • basic math skills required
  • excellent communication skills including reading, writing and verbal in English required
  • bilingual Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • apply thorough knowledge&comma
  • understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
  • monitor all meals being served for appearance&comma
  • quality standards&comma
  • portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is ready for next shift
  • support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
  • safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
  • assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs as well as purchasing&comma
  • receiving&comma
  • purveyor lists and inventory management
  • ensure meal and rest breaks are made available to team members and record accurately using the time clock
  • assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and conduct inventories
  • properly label&comma

  • rotate and store all products for food handling and sanitation compliance
  • maintain a clean&comma
  • safe and presentable production and merchandising area
  • communicate effectively with management&comma
  • guests&comma
  • and team members to address needs and problem solve promptly

  • bag orders efficiently to preserve item integrity and presentation
