Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- basic math skills
- excellent communication skills in English
- ability to manage stress in fast-paced environments

- ability to maintain cleanliness and professional appearance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

- understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance&comma

- portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is ready for next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs as well as purchasing&comma

- purveyor lists and inventory management
- ensure meal and rest breaks are made available to team members and record accurately using the time clock
- assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and conduct inventories
- properly label&comma

- rotate and store all products for food handling and sanitation compliance

- safe and presentable production and merchandising area
