Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • 1-2 years of food service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Basic math skills required
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English required

  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Apply thorough knowledge and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
  • Monitor meals for appearance, quality, portion, and temperature standards
  • Ensure stations are set with sufficient mis-en-place prior to service
  • Uphold safety standards and report injuries promptly
  • Assist in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, and inventory management
  • Ensure meal and rest breaks for team members and accurate time recording
  • Establish proper par levels and conduct inventories
  • Properly label, date, rotate, and store all products for handling and sanitation
  • Maintain clean, safe, and presentable production and merchandising areas
  • Communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members
  • Use POS system for order entry and sales
  • Bag orders neatly preserving item quality
  • Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
  • Secure the building at closing
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary
