Job Qualifications

- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and sufficient supply of mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries
- assist Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, and inventory
- ensure meal and rest breaks are available, properly recorded, and taken duty free
- establish proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure proper food handling and sanitation compliance
- maintain clean, safe and presentable production and merchandising areas
- communicate effectively with management, Guests and Team Members and promptly address issues
- utilize POS system to enter guest information, take-out orders and complete sales
- bag orders neatly preserving quality and presentation
- set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- secure the building at closing, ensuring doors, safe and alarm are secured
- perform other job-related duties as necessary
