Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to manage stress and perform in a high-volume environment
- Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
- Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- Use kitchen equipment safely and apply advanced knife skills
- Assist the Chef and the Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs as well as purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are available to Team Members and properly recorded
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure food handling and sanitation compliance
- Maintain clean, safe and presentable production and merchandising areas
- Communicate effectively with management and assist with Guests' and Team Members' needs and inquiries
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to accurately enter guest information and take-out orders
- Bag orders efficiently preserving item quality and presentation
- Set the tone for the shift and take responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing ensuring doors and safes are locked and alarms set
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
