Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance quality standards portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries promptly
- Assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs purchasing receiving purveyor lists and inventory of kitchen items
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are available to team members and accurately record times
- Assist in establishing proper par levels and conducting inventories to assure proper quantities are ordered and on hand
- Properly label date rotate and store products to ensure proper food handling shelf life and sanitation compliance
- Maintain a clean safe and presentable production and merchandising area
- Communicate effectively with management guests and team members and promptly address issues
- Utilize POS system to accurately enter guest information take-out orders and complete sales
- Bag orders efficiently and neatly ensuring high quality and presentation
- Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for results
- Secure the building at closing including locking the safe doors and setting alarms
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
