Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- Basic math skills required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to read write and communicate verbally in English required

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance quality standards portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- Safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- Assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs purchasing receiving purveyor lists and inventory
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are made available to Team Members and accurately record break times
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label date rotate and store all products to ensure food handling and sanitation compliance
- Ensure production and merchandising area is clean safe and presentable
- Effectively communicate with management and assist with Guest and Team Member inquiries and problem solving
- Utilize point-of-sale system to accurately enter guest information take-out orders and complete sales
- Bag orders efficiently and neatly preserving item integrity and presentation
- Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building especially at closing ensuring safe is locked doors are locked and alarm is set
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
