Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of food service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to manage stress and perform under pressure
  • Availability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual kitchen tasks

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others

Job Duties

  • Apply thorough knowledge of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
  • Monitor all meals for appearance, quality standards, portion control, and temperature compliance
  • Ensure stations are properly set prior to service with sufficient mis-en-place supplies
  • Uphold safety standards and properly use kitchen equipment including advanced knife skills
  • Assist Chef and Sous Chef with controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, and inventory
  • Ensure accurate and polite communication with guests and team members, addressing issues promptly
  • Secure the building at closing by locking doors, safe, and setting alarms
