- Minimum age of 21 years
- 1-2 years of experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Basic math skills

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is prepared for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries promptly
- Safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- Assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs and managing purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are made available to Team Members and accurately record break times
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure food handling, shelf life and sanitation compliance
- Ensure production and merchandising areas are clean, safe and presentable
- Communicate effectively with management and assist with Guests' and Team Members' needs and inquiries
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to accurately enter guest information and take-out orders
- Bag orders efficiently preserving the integrity and quality of items
- Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing, ensuring all doors and the safe are locked and alarm is set
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
