Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- at least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- basic math skills required
- excellent communication skills required
- ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English required
- ability to manage stress and perform in high-volume environment
- ability to problem solve
- ability to work well under time constraints and prioritize multiple work responsibilities
- ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- ability to consistently maintain a clean and professional appearance

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is ready for the next shift
- uphold safety standards by using kitchen equipment safely and reporting injuries
- assist Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs as well as purchasing, receiving and inventory management
- ensure meal and rest breaks are provided and accurately recorded
- assist in establishing par levels and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store products for food safety and sanitation
- maintain clean, safe and presentable production and merchandising areas
- communicate effectively with management, guests and team members to address and resolve issues
- utilize POS system to enter guest information and complete sales
- efficiently and neatly bag orders preserving item integrity and quality
- set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- secure the building at closing including locking the safe, doors and setting the alarm
- perform other job-related duties as necessary
