Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum age of 21 years
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- basic math skills required
- excellent communication skills in English required
- ability to work under stress and in high-volume environments
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- ability to perform repetitive tasks and use kitchen tools
- commitment to safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and sufficient mis-en-place is prepared for the next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, inventories
- ensure meal and rest breaks are made available and recorded
- assist in establishing proper par levels and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure food safety
- maintain production and merchandising area clean, safe and presentable
- communicate effectively with management, guests and team members
- use the point-of-sale system to accurately enter orders
- bag orders efficiently and neatly
- set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- secure the building at closing and perform other job-related duties
