Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- basic math skills
- excellent communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English
- ability to manage stress and perform in a fast-paced environment
- ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods
- must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures

Job Duties
- apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of kitchen items
- ensure meal and rest breaks are made available to team members and accurately record meal periods
- assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure proper food handling and sanitation compliance
- ensure production and merchandising area is clean, safe, and presentable
- effectively communicate with management and respond to guest and team member needs promptly
- utilize the point-of-sale system to accurately enter guest information and complete sales
- bag orders efficiently and neatly preserving item quality and presentation
- set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for the results
- secure the building at closing, ensuring safe is locked, doors are locked, and alarm is set
- perform other job-related duties as necessary
