- At least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- Basic math skills

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries promptly
- Assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory management
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are made available and accurately documented for team members
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure proper food handling and sanitation compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe and presentable production and merchandising area
- Effectively communicate with management, guests and team members to address needs and problem solve
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to accurately process orders
- Bag orders efficiently ensuring the highest quality and presentation
- Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing including locking doors, safe and setting the alarm
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
