Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read write and communicate verbally in English
- Ability to manage stress in a high-volume environment
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to prioritize multiple work responsibilities
- Ability to maintain a clean professional appearance
- Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance quality standards portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- Safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned maintained and functioning
- Assist the Chef and the Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs purchasing receiving purveyor lists and inventory of kitchen items
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are made available to Team Members and accurately record meal breaks
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label date rotate and store all products to ensure proper food handling and sanitation compliance
- Maintain a clean safe and presentable production and merchandising area
- Communicate effectively with management and respond to Guests and Team Members inquiries to satisfaction
- Utilize the POS system to accurately enter guests information take-out orders and complete sales
- Bag orders efficiently and neatly preserving item integrity
- Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing ensuring safe locked doors and alarm system
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
