Job Duties
- Catches and throws heaving lines from ship's docking
- pulls mooring lines down the dock and secure to bollards and removes mooring lines from bollards
- ability to train and get approval to operate pedestal crane to move cargo and personnel to/from vessel, required at levels 3 and 4
- performs dock inspections prior to vessel arrival
- performs other related duties as assigned
