Job Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods

- Availability to undergo training for pedestal crane operation
- Basic understanding of safety protocols
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
Job Qualifications

- Identifies deviations from accepted practices
Job Duties
- Catches and throws heaving lines from ship's docking
- Pulls mooring lines down the dock and secure to bollards and removes mooring lines from bollards
- Ability to train and get approval to operate pedestal crane to move cargo and personnel to/from vessel, required at levels 3 & 4
- Performs dock inspections prior to vessel arrival
- Performs other related duties as assigned
