Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to safely operate vehicles and fueling equipment
  • knowledge of aircraft fueling procedures preferred
  • ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • willingness to work in varying weather conditions
  • ability to work flexible hours including possible holidays or emergencies
  • good communication and organizational skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • ability to respond promptly during emergencies

Job Qualifications

  • experience in aircraft servicing, fueling, or airport maintenance preferred
  • knowledge of fueling procedures and safety standards
  • ability to provide excellent customer service
  • ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely

  • valid driver's license
  • ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • physical ability to perform manual tasks associated with airport operations

Job Duties

  • Safely drives, services and fuels all types of aircraft and airport equipment, including refueling mobile refueling trucks
  • marshals in and out aircraft on arrivals and departures
  • greets all pilots and passengers
  • assists passengers with luggage
  • takes written fuel orders from passengers or pilots and relays to appropriate employees
  • services oil on aircraft as directed
  • collects ramp fees and fuel charges
  • maintains fuel truck records on a daily basis
  • services aircraft by removing trash, fueling, lavatory service, loading and unloading luggage, towing, water service, windshield washing, and supplying amenities
  • performs minor maintenance on airport equipment
  • washes airport equipment, trucks, loaner cars and other vehicles as directed
  • performs regularly scheduled safety checks on ground equipment and fuel trucks
  • inspects T-hangars for function and customer adherence to rules, reporting discrepancies
  • responsible for first response firefighting as per NATA training
  • maintains regular attendance
  • works as an essential employee before, during and after emergencies
  • complies with all City and departmental policies
  • performs other duties as assigned
