Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work full-time or part-time hours
  • Food Safety/Food Handler certification required
  • At least 2 years of restaurant kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work in hot and slippery kitchen environments
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to multitask and handle stress
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Must follow OSHA and EEOC regulations and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen preferred
  • Demonstrated success in culinary excellence and food service hospitality
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations and food safety procedures
  • Point of Sale (POS) knowledge or skills preferred
  • Food Safety/Food Handler certification required
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Proven ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
  • Ability to multitask and anticipate opportunities for corrective action
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Places value on diversity and respects others

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipe guidelines and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation and inventory management
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Collaborate with management to support special events and menu changes
  • Adhere to food safety procedures and company policies
  • Participate actively in daily kitchen operations during peak times
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth service
