Job Requirements
- At least 2 years experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen preferred
- Food Safety or Food Handler certification required
- Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations
- Ability to perform all job duties successfully
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Ability to multitask and handle high stress situations
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen preferred
- Demonstrated success in culinary excellence and food service hospitality
- Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations, restaurant and food safety procedures
- Point of Sale (POS) knowledge or skills preferred
- Food Safety or Food Handler certification required
- Strong organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills including add, subtract, multiply, divide
- Proven ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
- Ability to multitask in accordance with business demands
- Ability to identify and anticipate opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Values diversity and respects others
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe guidelines and quality standards
- Ensure kitchen equipment and tools are used safely and maintained properly
- Manage inventory and food prep processes efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and restaurant areas
- Contribute to special event preparation and execution
- Assist in upholding food safety and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with management to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence
