Job Requirements

  • Valid Texas food handler Safe-Serve Certificate
  • Ability to stand and work in a hot, humid and sometimes loud environment for long periods
  • Ability to lift at least forty pounds
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, holding, twisting, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of professional cooking experience with fine dining and restaurant line cook experience desired
  • Ability to work clean, neat and organized
  • Strong work ethics
  • Interest to continue career advancement
  • Texas food handler Safe-Serve Certificate preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean, sanitary environment to ensure compliance with local and state health codes
  • Prepare all food according to recipes and guidelines established by the Executive Chef
  • Enforce and abide by all established country club policies pertinent to kitchen operations
  • Assist with preparation of other food products as needed
  • Prepare or assist in preparing employee meals as needed
  • Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by Executive Sous, Banquet Sous or Executive Chef
