Job Requirements
- Valid Texas food handler Safe-Serve Certificate
- Ability to stand and work in a hot, humid and sometimes loud environment for long periods
- Ability to lift at least forty pounds
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, holding, twisting, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders
Job Qualifications
- Three years of professional cooking experience with fine dining and restaurant line cook experience desired
- Ability to work clean, neat and organized
- Strong work ethics
- Interest to continue career advancement
- Texas food handler Safe-Serve Certificate preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, sanitary environment to ensure compliance with local and state health codes
- Prepare all food according to recipes and guidelines established by the Executive Chef
- Enforce and abide by all established country club policies pertinent to kitchen operations
- Assist with preparation of other food products as needed
- Prepare or assist in preparing employee meals as needed
- Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by Executive Sous, Banquet Sous or Executive Chef
