- Prior experience as a line cook in a busy restaurant setting
- Ability to work day and night shifts
- Weekend availability
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift and move kitchen equipment and supplies
- Strong time management and multitasking skills

Job Duties
- Follow proper dress code and ServSafe/health department guidelines
- Perform line checks and maintain temperature logs
- Prepare and cook food items according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure food is cooked to correct temperature and presented appealingly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with kitchen team to complete all orders on time
- Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies
- Assume responsibility for the quality of products served
- Stock and maintain sufficient food product levels at line stations
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and kitchen equipment
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
- Assist in food prep and dishwashing during off-peak times
- Open and/or close the kitchen properly following checklists
- Help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Attend scheduled employee meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen manager or manager-on-duty
