Job Requirements

  • One year or more of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment
  • knowledge of basic cooking techniques, measurements, and sanitation
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs
  • reliable and punctual with availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to relocate to Lakeland, FL
  • legal eligibility to work in the US

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or high-volume food service environment
  • knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen sanitation practices
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • punctual and reliable with flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • positive attitude and passion for teamwork and quality food

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all menu items according to Sora's exact recipes and quality standards
  • operate essential kitchen equipment safely and proficiently
  • ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and quickly
  • manage assigned station during service, ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • perform daily prep tasks including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients
  • follow established par levels to minimize waste and ensure sufficient product availability
  • assist with inventory receiving, stock rotation, and storage
