Job Requirements
- One year or more of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment
- knowledge of basic cooking techniques, measurements, and sanitation
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs
- reliable and punctual with availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to relocate to Lakeland, FL
- legal eligibility to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or high-volume food service environment
- knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen sanitation practices
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- punctual and reliable with flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- positive attitude and passion for teamwork and quality food
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all menu items according to Sora's exact recipes and quality standards
- operate essential kitchen equipment safely and proficiently
- ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and quickly
- manage assigned station during service, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- perform daily prep tasks including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients
- follow established par levels to minimize waste and ensure sufficient product availability
- assist with inventory receiving, stock rotation, and storage
