Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
  • willingness to adhere to all food safety guidelines and cleaning protocols

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • assist in the preparation of ingredients including chopping vegetables marinating meats and measuring spices
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area including workstations and equipment
  • follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of food service
  • collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery
  • monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager
  • participate in daily cleaning tasks and maintain a safe working environment
