Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • must be able to bend stretch twist or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
  • must be able to lift push pull or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds

Job Duties

  • Mastering the fry station ensuring fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • operating the grill station cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring taco ingredients are grilled properly
  • managing the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful dishes
  • operating steam equipment to prepare steamed dishes maintaining texture and flavor
  • assembling and building each taco to order meeting high standards and guest expectations
  • preparing and cooking ingredients according to Torchy's recipes and standards
  • maintaining a clean and organized work station ensuring food safety and sanitation standards
  • collaborating with back-of-house team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
  • assisting with inventory management stocking and organizing ingredients
  • operating with a sense of urgency during busy periods to maintain quality and presentation
