Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
  • Must be able to stand for several hours
  • Must be able to bend stretch twist or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
  • Must be able to lift push pull or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to serve guests with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to have fun

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Ability to work varied schedules including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous experience with fry, grill, sauté, steam stations or taco assembly preferred

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring taco ingredients are grilled perfectly
  • Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming while maintaining texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order meeting high standards and guest expectations
  • Prepare and cook ingredients according to Torchy’s recipes and standards
  • Monitor quality and presentation of each dish ensuring every taco meets Damn Good standards
  • Maintain clean and organized work stations adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with back-of-house team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
  • Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients to prepare kitchen for service
  • Operate with urgency during busy periods to meet guest demand while maintaining food quality and presentation
