Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and standards
- Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation
- Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations
- Monitor ingredient inventory levels and report shortages to the Assistant Kitchen Manager
- Conduct regular line checks to ensure proper stock and quality
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Implement kitchen safety protocols to create a secure working environment
- Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in training new kitchen staff members
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
