Job Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation
  • Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations
  • Monitor ingredient inventory levels and report shortages to the Assistant Kitchen Manager
  • Conduct regular line checks to ensure proper stock and quality
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Implement kitchen safety protocols to create a secure working environment
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff members
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
