Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or related environment preferred
- Health and safety training credentials
- Certification meeting local regulatory requirements
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team, dividing responsibilities and monitoring staff
- Credentials in health and safety training
- Certification that meets local requirements
- Must be flexible with hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during normal operations
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest
Job Duties
- Open/close kitchen when needed
- Prepare a variety of different appetizers/entrees for guests and ensure food preparation to keep the kitchen and line fully stocked
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
- Unload and organize them properly
- Empty trash containers regularly and maintain a clean work area by sweeping and mopping as needed
- Perform additional cleaning duties and clean food prep stations and equipment as requested
- Control and direct the food preparation process while collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest
