Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment preferred but not required
  • Credentials in health and safety training
  • Certification that meets local requirements
  • Must be flexible with hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during normal operations
  • Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team, dividing responsibilities and monitoring staff
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest

Job Duties

  • Open/close kitchen when needed
  • Prepare a variety of different appetizers/entrees for guests and ensure food preparation to keep the kitchen and line fully stocked
  • Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
  • Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
  • Unload and organize them properly
  • Empty trash containers regularly and maintain a clean work area by sweeping and mopping as needed
  • Perform additional cleaning duties and clean food prep stations and equipment as requested
  • Control and direct the food preparation process while collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest
