Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to provide documentation to work legally in the United States
- Open availability to work various shifts
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Eager to learn and enjoys being challenged
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of cooking techniques especially related to Asian or wok-style cuisine is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and plating instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Learns all Wok recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
- Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
- Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
- Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
- Prepares and cuts garnishes for Wok line items
- Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
- Attends monthly staff meetings and Wok meetings
