Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Able to provide documentation to work legally in the United States
  • Open availability to work various shifts
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Friendly, energetic, and highly motivated individual who thrives in a team environment
  • Eager to learn and enjoys being challenged

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques especially related to Asian or wok-style cuisine is advantageous
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and plating instructions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Learns all Wok recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
  • Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
  • Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
  • Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
  • Prepares and cuts garnishes for Wok line items
  • Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
  • Attends monthly staff meetings and Wok meetings
