Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures accurately
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and be challenged

Job Duties

  • Learn all wok recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung's procedures
  • Check the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
  • Cook the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung's recipes
  • Plate the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung's plating guidelines
  • Prepare and cut garnishes for wok line items
  • Label all items in accordance with health department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and wok meetings
