Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or cooking role is advantageous
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to legally work in the United States and provide necessary documentation
  • Physical ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in a fast paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organizational standards in the kitchen

Job Duties

  • Learns all wok recipes cook times and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung's procedures
  • Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
  • Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung's recipes
  • Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung's plating guidelines
  • Prepares and cuts garnishes for wok line items
  • Labels all items in accordance with health department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
  • Attends monthly staff meetings and wok meetings
