Job Requirements
- 2 years of high-volume kitchen experience
- food handler certification
- knowledge of restaurant prep and cooking methods
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to frequently squat, twist, lift, and carry products
- ability to work in extreme temperatures and loud environments
- ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards

Job Duties
- Prep according to the daily or weekly par
- cook and package batches of food such as hamburgers prepared to order or kept warm
- cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously
- read food order slips or receive verbal instructions and prepare and cook food according to instructions
- measure ingredients required for specific food items
- wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking
- clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
- operate large-volume cooking equipment including deep-fat fryers and griddles
- verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases
- participate in pre-shift meetings for instructions
- communicate effectively and respectfully with management and coworkers
- ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards
- additional duties as needed by the position
