Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Basic culinary education or certification is a plus
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and menu changes
Job Duties
- Handle, store, and rotate food properly to ensure freshness and safety
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and plating specifications set by Home Team
- Maintain a sanitary and efficient workspace throughout prep and service
- Set up the steam table with proper water levels, heat food to correct temperatures, and ensure readiness for service
- Maintain par levels by keeping the steam table stocked, heated, and service-ready
- Follow prep lists from the Executive Chef or Sous Chef, ensuring proper preparation and storage of ingredients
- Cook and assemble menu items at the station, ensuring quality and consistency
