Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members
  • able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
  • able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
  • committed to maintaining a clean and sanitary work area
  • able to follow Ruby standards and recipes consistently

Job Duties

  • prepare hot food products accurately and efficiently
  • prepare and portion food prior to cooking
  • perform food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing cooked items
  • prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • follow Ruby standards and recipes consistently
  • communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members
