Job Requirements

  • minimum of one year experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for up to ten hours
  • ability to communicate clearly
  • ability to follow recipes and portion control
  • willingness to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • physical ability to bend, stoop and reach

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of one year experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and front of house team
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • skill in plating and garnishing food items
  • ability to work standing for long periods
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending and reaching
  • commitment to following recipes and company standards

Job Duties

  • accurately prepare hot food products
  • prepare and portion food prior to cooking
  • perform plating and garnishing of cooked items
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
  • follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods and quality standards
  • communicate effectively with managers and team members
  • adhere to kitchen rules, policies and procedures
