Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers and team members
  • Ability to comply with kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods up to 10 hours
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion sizes consistently

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow recipes and Ruby Slipper quality standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to work flexible daytime hours
  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot food products accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and portion food prior to cooking
  • Plate and garnish cooked food items according to Ruby Slipper standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
  • Follow recipes and portion sizes consistently
  • Comply with kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Communicate clearly with managers and team members
