Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- Must enjoy hosting others
- Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests
- Knowledge of applicable food preparation methods and measures for menu planning, soups, sauces, meat and seafood items
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication, must be fluent and literate in English
- College degree or Culinary Arts degree preferred or a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training

Job Duties
- Foster a fun environment
- Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
- Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
- Perform assigned kitchen functions such as broiler, sauté, pantry, prep and production
- Accept direction during operations to ensure culinary standards and guidelines are met
- Prepare food items efficiently based on recipes and plating procedures maintaining quality and presentation
- Adjust thermostat controls for kitchen cooking equipment
- Bake, roast, broil, and steam various foods
- Season foods appropriately during preparation
- Observe and test foods for doneness
- Carve meats, portion food, add sauces and garnishes
- Exhibit knife skills including classic cuts and sharpening
- Prepare vegetables and fruits for cooking
- Support safety and accident prevention programs
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure workflow meets business needs
- Act as a role model and maintain professional appearance
- Provide excellent customer service internally and externally
- Assist in other food and beverage operations as needed
- Attend training and meetings
- Adhere to company policies, gaming laws, and safety protocols
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Meet department uniform and grooming standards
- Perform any additional duties to promote productivity as required
