Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a cook role or culinary environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
- Residency within the state of employment as required
- Successful completion of state-mandated screening process

Job Duties
- Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards
- Showcase flair for plating and presentation
- Maintain temperature charts and food safety records
- Adhere to sanitation protocols and quality control
- Notify the Chef of inventory needs and participate in kitchen operations
- Uphold Civitas standards in personal grooming and kitchen hygiene
- Assist in organizing kitchen, food storage, dish room, and culinary areas
- Foster a spirit of collaboration and innovation
- Ensure first-in, first-out food rotation, verifying proper dating and organization
- Assist Chef Manager/F&B Director to improve kitchen efficiency and provide staff training
- Follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and meet regulatory requirements
