Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience working as a Cook or Chef
- ability to follow recipes and adhere to culinary standards
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- good communication and teamwork skills
- physical ability to perform kitchen tasks including standing for extended periods
- willingness to comply with state screening and residency requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards
- showcase flair for plating and presentation
- maintain temperature charts and food safety records
- adhere to sanitation protocols and quality control
- notify the Chef of inventory needs and participate in streamlined kitchen operations
- uphold Civitas standards in personal grooming and kitchen hygiene
- assist in organizing the kitchen, food storage, dish room, and other culinary areas
- ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system with proper dating and organization
- assist Chef Manager/F&B Director to grow kitchen efficiency and offer staff training opportunities
- follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and meet regulatory requirements
