Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous kitchen experience preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • residency within the state of Texas
  • successful completion of state-mandated screening process

Job Duties

  • Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards
  • showcase flair for plating and presentation
  • maintain temperature charts and food safety records
  • adhere to sanitation protocols and quality control
  • notify the Chef of inventory needs and participate in kitchen operations
  • uphold personal grooming and kitchen hygiene standards
  • assist in organizing kitchen, food storage, and dish room
  • ensure first-in, first-out food rotation system
  • assist Chef Manager/F&B Director to improve kitchen efficiency and offer staff training
  • follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and meet regulatory requirements
