Job Requirements
- Must hold or be willing to get a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or food preparation role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work flexible hours including event-based schedules
- Ability to lift and move items as required
- Commitment to personal and team safety
- Must abide by all company policies and safety procedures including use of safety gloves mitts and slip-resistant shoes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- ServSafe Food Handling Certification or willingness to obtain one

Job Duties
- Prepare and portion ingredients including chopping vegetables marinating proteins and measuring seasonings to support kitchen operations
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production delivery and service schedules
- Serve meals or prepare them for delivery using correct portioning meeting standards ensuring food is at correct temperature and attractive and tasty and tasting all prepared food items
- Assist with preparation of menu items such as sauces sides and entrees according to chef instructions and established recipes
- Maintain clean and organized workstations adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Monitor inventory levels of prepared items and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors
- Clean kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high standards of cleanliness and store or discard excess food per safe food-handling procedures
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat ensuring food and supply items are stored per standards
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assist in production planning record keeping and reporting as required
- Assist in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required
- Report needed maintenance faulty equipment or accidents to supervisor immediately
- Abide by all Company policies and procedures including proper safety equipment use presentation portion control and HACCP standards
- Personal commitment to safety and perform other duties as assigned
