Job Requirements
- Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
- detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards
- lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties
- must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
- lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs to reconfigure seating arrangements

Job Qualifications
- Experience in a professional kitchen environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced setting
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- basic knife handling and cooking techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience with Japanese cuisine is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to Uchi's culinary and presentation standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- ensure compliance with safety and food hygiene standards
- assist with inventory stocking and restocking
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- respond promptly to customer needs and special requests
