Job Requirements

  • Washington Food Handler Certification required or must be obtained shortly after hire
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • standing for long periods in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • lifting up to 30 pounds including ingredients and equipment
  • ability to perform repetitive motions including chopping, stirring, lifting, and plating
  • positive attitude and reliability
  • 1+ year of line cook or kitchen experience preferred but willing to train

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations
  • maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times
  • ensure proper food handling, labeling, storage, and rotation using FIFO practices
  • coordinate with the kitchen team to support fast, efficient service during peak hours
  • assist with prep work, restocking, and daily opening/closing tasks
  • communicate effectively with BOH and FOH team members to keep service running smoothly
  • demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK values: teamwork, respect, accountability, passion, honesty, and kindness
