Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- basic knife skills and food preparation experience
- willingness to comply with all restaurant policies and procedures
- ability to pass E-Verify Employment Eligibility Verification
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a commercial kitchen or as a line cook is advantageous
- ability to follow recipes and food preparation guidelines accurately
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule
- maintain and clean uniform according to restaurant requirements
- practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits
- prep all food according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards
- display proper food safety techniques including hygiene, hand washing, gloves, and knife skills
- know emergency procedures for the restaurant
- maintain the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for the work area including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving
- adhere to all safety guidelines and practices, immediately report unsafe conditions, acts, accidents, or injuries
