Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to follow health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Familiarity with kitchen tools and equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to follow recipes and preparation instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report, and follow Kitchen Manager / BOH Supervisor instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
