Job Requirements

  • must have 2+ years of kitchen management experience or equivalent education
  • must hold an active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
  • flexible availability including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • must pass background check
  • ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location
  • willingness to work in loud and busy environments
  • ability to tolerate drastic temperature climates
  • must be able to travel to work events during holiday, evening, and weekend hours
  • must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of kitchen management experience in high volume restaurants or equivalent education
  • excels in a variety of cooking styles and techniques
  • knowledge of food safety rules and regulations
  • active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
  • flexible schedule, mornings, nights, weekends and holidays are required
  • must meet the minimal criteria in background check
  • ability to speak, write, read and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • ability to adapt to new systems quickly

Job Duties

  • supervise and lead line cooks while ensuring efficient SOP are being followed
  • check inventory for ingredients and supplies, noting when more need to be ordered
  • prepare ingredients before each meal service
  • prepare dishes following exact recipe instructions
  • plate and garnish dishes as prepared prior to being served
  • clean work areas once meal service is done
