Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a culinary environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to following safety and hygiene protocols
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow brand recipe cards accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of Marriott standards is preferred
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Supervise all line cooks
- Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards
- Proper documentation on all food containers with adherence to rotations per SOP
- Practice safety standards at all times
- Review Marriott standards and ensure all requirements are met
- Conduct food critiques
- Manage scheduling and payroll duties as needed
- Cook orders with adherence to guest requests and special needs in a positive manner
- Be proactive with ordering and pars, food preparations and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles
