  • have knowledge of applicable food preparation methods and measures
  • possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • have good oral and written communication skills in English
  • hold a college degree or culinary arts degree preferred or have a minimum of three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • Foster a fun environment
  • be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
  • promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
  • perform assigned kitchen functions such as broiler, sauté, pantry, prep, and production as needed
  • follow culinary standards and operational guidelines during shifts
  • efficiently prepare food items according to established recipes and plating procedures
  • adjust cooking equipment temperature controls
  • bake, roast, broil, and steam various foods
  • season food during cooking
  • taste and test food to ensure proper cooking
  • carve meats and garnish plates
  • exhibit knife skills including classic cuts and sharpening
  • wash, peel, cut, and shred vegetables and fruits
  • support safety and accident prevention programs
  • partner with culinary leadership to coordinate workflow
  • act as a role model and promote company values
  • provide stellar customer service
  • assist in other food and beverage venues as needed
  • attend training programs and meetings
  • adhere to company policies and gaming regulations
  • maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas
  • meet uniform and grooming standards
  • perform additional duties as required to promote productivity
